On Wednesday 18th November, Port Melbourne Netball Club welcomed a visit from St Josephs Convent netball teams, from Singapore.
2 friendly matches were played at our home ground R F Julier by the 13 & under and 15 & under teams - thanks PORT Tigers, Penguins and Parrots!)

This was a great opportunity for both clubs to build team spirit through netball, meet new people and for SJC players, exposure to a foreign culture.

The SJC teams were on a week long netball team trip to Melbourne to forge a stronger identity amongst players through interactions. The club wanted to provide opportunities for players to level up in competency in netball through experiencing different and competitive situations.

The Port Melbourne Netball Club found this a really positive experience and we hope to create more opportunities like these for our players in the future.
