
Port Melbourne Netball Club has opportunities for girls and boys interested in playing netball and advancing their skills in a friendly, social environment. See below for details by age group. Our coaches are a mix of trained volunteers and paid qualified coaches. You can check out some of our teams here.
The Saturday Parkville Netball competition in which our players aged around 8+ participate, is run over two seasons during the year – Autumn (late February until July) and Spring (August until early December).
Costs
The cost of a ten-week NetSetGo program is currently $120, and includes a participant pack with a ball and NetSetGo Tshirt (one pack per player per year).
Registration costs for Port Melbourne Netball Club players competing in the Saturday Parkville Netball Competition is $320 per season (2 seasons per year), this includes your Annual Netball Victoria Registration. Match uniform is compulsory, there are always some second-hand uniforms available, and the club provides support for players who require financial assistance to participate.

Age 5-7 (NetSetGo)
Port Melbourne Netball Club is a registered NetSetGo Centre and runs the NetSetGo program for beginners aged 5 to 7. The details of the program are here.

Age 8-10PMNC players aged around 8-10 are formed into teams, train once during the week, and play in the Saturday Parkville Netball “Set and Go” Competition, which has modified rules. These games are usually run between 8.00am and 9.30am on a Saturday morning, although times vary season to season.

11/U, 13/U, 15/U, 17/U - OPENPMNC players aged 10 and up (and younger players who have had a couple of years experience playing in modified competition) are graded into teams, train once during the week, and compete in the various age-appropriate Saturday fixtures at Parkville. Playing times vary season-to-season – younger players usually have fixtures in the morning. 13/U upwards are usually around lunchtime and afternoon games.
